This might corbidden one of my favorites of the series so far.

Vonda and Phil are a wonderful couple and I loved that more shifters were introduced. Phil Jones, a mortal and Vanda’s day guard from when she was a part of the Covern Master’s harem for five years.

Books by Kerrelyn Sparks. It was sufficiently steamy but nothing out of the ordinary. To see what your friends thought of this book, please sign up. So far this is the weakest book in the series. In Forbidden Nights with a Vampire we finally see the romance that was foreshadowed in a previous book come to fruition.

It was just a little harmless flirtation.

Vanda is a delight: I was so sure i would hate Vanda but hell, i can be so wrong sometimes. Vanda’s character really grows throughout the novel and becomes the woman she was meant to be. I love this series!!

Sparks was kind and clever enough to let Phil save her life lots of times before the “coming-out”. Truly, they would have to be.

Let’s face it, ladies. Goodreads helps you keep track of books you want to read. Phil, oh I adore him too. While the romantic moments were nice, and Phil was incredibly believable as a sexy alpha male, I did not find myself as enthralled by their romantic interludes as I have been with past novels by Kerrelyn Sparks.

Trying to get to the root of her fears and anger, Phil slowly uncovers Vanda’s harrowing past in Europe during the Second World War – and her terror of wolves. For the last three years Vanda Barkowski has managed her own Vamp nightclub, where sexy Vamp men dance and strip for excited Vamp women.

An This story is about a hotheaded vampire and male strip club owner whose employees have stage names like “Max the Mega Member” sentenced by a vampire judicial system to anger management counseling with a frbidden human bodyguard but secretly he’s an Alpha werewolf.

The over-arching plot regarding the ongoing war with the Malcontents ups the ante, but fighting between the factions doesn’t take up so much space that it gets boring. It’s not very often that a Werewolf tops a vampire for me but Phil did it. I truly loved his spaeks in this series. There were just too many issues holding it back from being really great. So, this book sucked. Someone from the musical “Cats”.

Just not my favorite.
